I felt like I was wasting it, though, as it would have made a great base - the entire house smelled so very good. Have to give credit where credit is due! Keep up the good work. I find these little guys to be deceiving. There really isn't that much meat on the birds. If I was to bake/BBQ the birds, I'm not sure the time spent getting the meat off would be worth it. I remember that being a problem when I used to eat them. After sitting in the Crockpot for 7 hours the meat just falls off the bone. One literally can simply pick up a bone and be done with it, no effort whatsoever. None. Even getting the bird to the plate with the bones in place may be hard as the meat just wants to come off... So, Crockpot it's not too much of a concern. Baked I would say yes. Well…
