Thanks sweet-love. I asked your mom to send pix of the other one I did this year since we didn't take a pic.

Ha! I am guessing they most likely ARE different that what you are thinking. They aren't edible. They are decorative - for babyshowers in lieu of a real cake (they are safer for mom to avoid sugar related complications like gestational diabetes and such that you might not know about). I will find some pix of stuff we have created and post them. Have a good one!

Thanks WC :) Tom, here, stood about 10-11 inches tall....i'd say a pretty decent size. For a frame of reference, his body (the base sphere) was about the size of a canteloupe. His head was the size of a tangerine.

As for the diaper cakes, they are for baby showers. Instead of having a cake for the mom-to-be, we build a centerpiece that LOOKS like a cake, but made with individually rolled diapers, and other baby-related things. The reason I said they looked "deceptively edible" is because often times people THINK it's an actual cake. Then mom gets to take it home and use all the things built in for her baby. It's super cute AND practical! :) I'll find some pix to post.

Thanks again for your compliments!!

Cool Turkey, I thought I was willing to eat questionable things, but diaper cakes sound too gross for even me. Hopefully they are very different from what I am imagining.

@Anju

I admit this is the cutest thing I've seen in ages. It looks so very... professional. You need to show the other one you did this past year.

That turkey is the cutest thing EVER! How bit is it, though? The picture makes it look really small, but if you decorated it with Nilla wafers it must be of considerable size.

Diaper cakes? OMG - I can't wait to read about those!
