Sorry for the lack of posts

Hi All,

Sorry for the lack of posts, life has been very busy for the last two weeks.  I really miss getting into the kitchen and working some magic, however, I simply haven’t had the time or energy due to a wide range of issues. You know… work… school (I’m getting a masters)… life in general…

That said, I am making a public promise right now.  Moving forward, I will make it my duty to post twice a week. I deserve it, the site deserves it, and the constant experimenting will continue my growth in the kitchen.

I hope you have enjoyed everything thus far and, again, sorry for the lack of posts.

    Hey…people get busy. You ought to see the hell going on at my house with trees coming down, drain field needs digging…..

    That is great that you are working on your Masters, I have never had the drive to go beyond the BA.

    AND, I love your blog and counter tops!

    @Bob – Thanks, I promise I’ll get some up soon. I believe Eileen is back soon as well.

    @Tina – What is going on!?! Bad weather?

    Yea, I decided to get off my bum and do something more with life. For the longest time I had a problem with even doing my BS…. now I cannot stop.

    I miss ya both, I’ll be posting and stopping in as well.

    So this morning I typed out a long response and my internet box thingee just stopped, it needed charging. And I had to get to work sooo…
    The trees – pine roots found the way into the drain field. The septic tank is fine but we need a new drain field and that cost thousands…so we had a crew come out and take out 4 huge pine trees and I am hoping that might make it better. I’ve had to shower at work in the gym becausd of backups. Grrr..

    And we’ve been getting lots of rain so that doesn’t help. The tree crew tore up the driveway so now I am awaiting asphalt folks to come with estimates.

    It’s just a pain. So I cook…and have some wine…and was able to take a bike ride Sunday!
